"Should the navy's use of high-powered sonar be restricted?" All responses opposed restrictions on the new Navy sonar system, with no "other" responses at all. We quote a couple of the more relevant comments here:

Factual Background:
Radar uses microwave radiation to detect aircraft; sonar uses sound waves to detect craft under the water, such as enemy submarines. Traditionally, most naval sonar has been "passive," that is, listening underwater for the telltale sounds of submarine engines.

But in recent years, Communist Bloc regimes have been building special, rubber-coated submarines as part of their massive mobilization for war. Soviet Russia, Red China, Iran, and North Korea are all deploying the new sonar-evading submarines, which could sneak up on our naval vessels undetected — until it's too late.

The U.S. Navy has developed, and is now trying to test, a new, "active" sonar that would defeat the silent Communist submarines. This high-powered sonar sends out low-frequency sound pulses that echo back from submarines, even from long distances and even if they have anti-sonar coating. Naturally, the Communists didn't want that new sonar deployed; it would ruin many years of submarine-building efforts.

So Marxist environmentalist groups were summoned to take care of the problem. A coalition of leftist groups led by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), which receives numerous grants from tax-exempt foundations that fund Marxist revolution and subversive Communist-front groups, filed lawsuits against the navy to stop the sonar. Since they had to find some justification for arguing that sonar "damages" the environment, these radical groups scoured the oceans for anything they could find. They ended up using reports of beached, dying whales in scattered episodes around the world, creating speculation that the sound pulses of the new sonar might make whales or dolphins "dizzy" and sick.

Leftist scientists (there are quite a few of such these days) obediently cranked out "studies" selectively choosing and reinterpreting data to justify the notion that sonar waves might injure whales. But other scientific studies found absolutely no link at all. The low frequency of the new sonar not only carries its signal farther and allows detection of enemy submarines from many miles away, it also poses less potential harm to ocean life. Not that whales, dolphins, or fish were showing any unusually high die-offs anyway, since whales often beach themselves and die for all kinds of reasons.

But with the help of leftist, pro-Communist judges in the federal court system (there are also quite a few of those in modern times), the NRDC and its allied groups managed to produce a legal ban on the new sonar in 2002. Weeks later, the navy agreed to a compromise in which they would restrict use of the sonar to only certain parts of the Pacific Ocean — thereby leaving designated channels for Communist submarines to pass through undetected. The ban was lifted, then partly reinstated the next year. The fight has continued to the present, with the NRDC and other groups filing once legal action after another in a campaign of continued harassment. Less than two months ago, the navy finally invoked a new national security authority (created by Congress two years ago) to bypass the Marine Mammal Protection Act and permit some sonar testing, but apparently this only covers the navy for a few months. So the fight goes on.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) The Torah forbids Jews from destroying anything wantonly, unless there is a clear, legitimate purpose, in which case destruction of things is usually permitted. This is particularly true in war, when the armed forces need not even divert their path to prevent the destruction of crops, orchards, or other property in pursuing the enemy. The Lubavitcher Rebbe has taught that this prohibition against wanton destruction also applies to gentiles as an unlisted principle embedded in the Noahide Laws. This presumably means the permissions to destroy are also included in the Noahide Laws.

2) In case of war, Jews are required to wage war against the entire enemy, including civilians, if necessary; there is no concept of "innocent civilians," for everyone in enemy territory is considered a combatant until the fighting is over. This would apply all the more so to animals, who are not even human. The same principle must also apply to gentile armies under the Noahide commandment of establishing justice, which includes winning wars against aggressor enemies.

3) And treason, as mentioned many times before, is a direct, punishable violation of the Noahide Laws which must be enforced with death penalty. That's in addition to any further, emergency measures that might have to be taken, depending on circumstances.

Analysis:
Even if the new sonar did injure or kill some whales or dolphins, it would be required to deploy the sonar in the face of the approaching world war. But since there's no established evidence linking the active sonar with whale beachings or deaths, no issue even exists. There's certainly no obligation — or even permission, for that matter — to scour the earth for any possible hints of environmental "damage."

Whereas the environmentalists themselves, who are directly working with and for the Communists and their Fabian Socialist allies, are committing outright treason. Their legal attacks on the navy constitute an act of war by the Communist Bloc, albeit from inside our own legal system. Thus the environmentalists who file the suits, all members and affiliates of the environmental groups involved, the judges who don't immediately throw out those suits as frivolous, and the "scientists" who crank out bogus studies to back the environmentalists are all liable to capital punishment under both the letter and principles of the Noahide Laws. The entire subversive web must be identified, uprooted, and annihilated by proper legal authorities.

Which means replacing an awful lot of federal judges just to carry this out. But we might as well get started now, because as soon as World War III is over and the Messiah has arrived, the system will be cleaned out anyway. The sooner we get to it, the less disaster we'll face during the transition period.

Given Fidel Castro's advanced age, what should the U.S. do to prepare for the aftermath of his death?

The CFR and Yeshiva University

Having exposed the ties between the radical, Fabian Socialist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz's subversive Aleph Society in our last issue, we divert momentarily to another CFR front in subverting religious Judaism.

For those who don't know the background of the New York-based CFR, it's important to understand that it is one of many dozens or hundreds of front groups acting as arms of the more hidden Theosophy movement, a brazenly anti-Semitic, occult, Satanic revolutionary web of secret societies emanating from the earlier French Revolution and the Illuminati of Germany. The Theosophical movement had considerable success infiltrating the upper echelons of British society and the Vatican since the 1800s, and created various Fabian Socialist organizations for the purpose of promoting "evolution from above" toward Communism as the counterpart of "revolution from below" by terrorists; Theosophy has also been the main force behind the so-called "New Age" or "Aquarian" movement that promotes paganism and the occult in so many parts of society today. Among the Fabian Socialist groups have been the Royal Institute for International Affairs (RIIA) of England, the Canadian Institute for International Affairs (CIIA), the CFR in America, and parallel groups throughout the industrial world (and in the Middle East, thanks to Theosophical Fabian Socialist agent T.E. Lawrence, aka "Lawrence of Arabia"). These groups often have overlapping membership with Communists (some of whom are members), but their primary function is to infiltrate and radicalize the upper classes of society, whereas Communism more typically aims at middle and lower classes.

The CFR, like its many (unofficial) affiliates and counterparts, promotes appeasement of Communism and the achievement of Communist objectives under other labels, particularly in foreign policy and international relations. It has worked for decades, for example, to build up the PLO revolution in the Middle East while undermining the governments targeted by the PLO — including Israel, Turkey, Iran (now in Communist hands thanks to CFR machinations), Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. The CFR and its members have been a major force in establishing U.S. funding of the PLO to the tune of about $1 billion per year, and in keeping that funding going despite massive opposition in Congress and among political conservatives.

The war against Israel couldn't succeed without brainwashing and recruiting Jews to participate in the sellout. And religious Jews, being the backbone of right-wing resistance to the PLO and its CFR support, top the list of targets for subversion. Enter Yeshiva University, the New York-based orthodox college and seminary institution that trains "modern orthodox" Jews for rabbinical service or other professions.

Rabbi Moshe Antelman, who resigned from the phony "Sanhedrin" over influence by the subversive Root & Branch Association (R & B) early this year, recently brought to our attention a new institute founded at Yeshiva University: the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Center for International Affairs. Barely two and a half years old, the Schneier Center features the suspicious rhetoric typically associated with CFR projects. But just in case you had doubts about what kind of influence the Center will provide students at the university, its founding ceremony was addressed by none other than the current president of the CFR, Richard N. Haass — the same Richard Haass who works closely with Adin Steinsaltz and the Aleph Society!

In his speech at the Schneier Center's opening, Haass revealed that Arthur Schneier, after whom the center was named, was a close friend of Haass, and that the "rabbi" had worked on (forbidden by Torah) interfaith efforts to promote "tolerance and non-violence" (Marxist code words for subversion and revolution through provocation, and in this case especially, for religion-merging). Haass also used the opportunity to lay out the CFR's goals in the Middle East:

Ongoing lack of victory in Iraq, continuing the no-win approach to the war.
Protecting Iran from U.S. invasion or overthrow of the Marxist regime in Tehran.
Continuing to protect the Communist regime of Muammar Qaddafi in Libya.
Establishment of a (Communist) PLO state in Israel's West Bank and Gaza Strip (and promoting the Bush Administration's "Road Map" sellout).
Promoting "democratic" (Marxist revolutionary) movements in non-Communist Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Jordan.

And Haass made quite clear that these same Leftist objectives were shared by the new Schneier Center at Yeshiva University, where many orthodox rabbis are trained.

Haass, though Jewish, is entirely non-observant. And he is a traitor against the Jewish people, working with the Amaleki enemy at the highest levels. But now so is Yeshiva University, which is rapidly becoming nothing more than an arm of subversion preparing the way for the world revolution. No Jewish student should continue attending; there are plenty of other, smaller, orthodox yeshivas in the U.S. and other countries. It's time to let Yeshiva University collapse, along with its traitorous leaders.

Given JAHG-USA's resounding success in getting endorsements from directors and members of the Vaad HaRabonim (leading rabbinical council) of Flatbush, we approached yet another Vaad member, Rabbi Benoliel, who co-runs a major Brooklyn synagogue. He picked up a copy of our PLO-defunding Proclamation last November 5th and asked to have a couple of days to look it over.

But when we re-approached him on November 7th, the rabbi was adamant about refusing to sign — and equally determined not to give any reason at all! He declared he just didn't "want to" sign, and insisted that he didn't "have the time" to explain. Our amazed volunteer persisted in trying to discover his reason. Was there something wrong with the Proclamation itself? No, the rabbi didn't have any objection to the document. "There are rabbis who signed, and those who didn't. I'll be one of those who didn't," the rabbi cryptically told the volunteer and abruptly walked away.

By now, you certainly don't need our explanations to figure out what was going on. Like so many other rabbis, Rabbi Benoliel saw a perfectly fine Proclamation — two-thirds of rabbis approached to date have endorsed, and almost all the "refuseniks" likewise had no objection to the Proclamation or the PLO-defunding campaign. But he wanted to stay out of it, and couldn't even dream up a legitimate-sounding reason.

Your guess is as good as ours as to what's scaring the rabbi. But if you volunteer to contact him yourself and shame him about not signing, he might just change his mind.

Terrorism Update:

The Bush Administration continues to fund the PLO/Hezbollah war against Israelis, Turks, Arabs, and Americans through direct aid to PLO organizations, aid to Communist Lebanon and Communist Egypt, funding of the United Nations, and foreign aid to certain non-Communist Arab governments — all of whom are aiding Hamas and Hezbollah. So this is what your tax dollars are accomplishing:

Summary of terror attacks, Wednesday (August 16) through Tuesday (August 22): While PLO/Hezbollah forces in Lebanon continued to re-arm with Communist Bloc weaponry, the terrorist attacks came almost entirely from within Israel by the PLO and its close allies. Kassam rockets from the PLO-occupied Gaza Strip, anti-tank missiles, firebombs, bombs, gunfire, and other attacks were launched by the Al-Aqsa Brigades of the PLO's Fatah (its main group) and by the PLO-funded Hamas and the PLO-coordinated Islamic Jihad. One suicide bombing failed when 3 Hamas terrorists accidentally blew themselves up prematurely. Stone-throwing attacks damaged automobiles and injured one woman.

It turns out that PLO/Hezbollah forces in Lebanon were able to destroy so many Israeli tanks because they had been supplied a large number of sophisticated, Soviet Russian anti-tank missiles. The missiles, along with many other Russian and Red Chinese armaments, were transshipped through Communist Iran and Communist Syria into Communist Lebanon, where the government works hand-in-hand with PLO/Hezbollah forces there.

In effect, Soviet Russia used the recent war in Lebanon as a testing ground for its newest weapons, to see how they would perform against U.S. and other western equipment — in addition to trying to wear down Israeli morale with a quagmire, no-win conflict (sabotaged by the Communist agents running Israel's government). And Soviet Russia even managed to get heavy help from the Bush Administration, including diplomatic pressure from Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member Condoleezza Rice that stopped the Israeli offensive just in time to save PLO/Hezbollah, the "ceasefire" and agreement for bringing United Nations troops in to assist and protect PLO/Hezbollah, and hundreds of millions of dollars for Communist Lebanon to rebuild military forces in preparation for their next attack on Israel.

These are some more foreign Chabad representatives who endorsed the PLO-defunding Proclamation last November 23rd, on the eve of the annual convention of Chabad rabbis in Brooklyn:

Rabbi Elmaleh's synagogue in Italy, though not featuring the Chabad name, operates, for all intents and purposes, as a Chabad house. Frequently, Chabad rabbis inherit pre-existing synagogues originally affiliated with other movements of orthodox Judaism. In any case, he didn't have the "refusenik jitters" found in some other Chabad representatives, so he signed gladly.

Rabbi Gansburg operates the Miami, Florida branch of an international Chabad organization that provides circumcisions to Jews who haven't already had one — such as some non-religious Jews and Russian Jewish immigrants (who have been prevented from practicing Jewish religion by Communism). And no doubt the Brit Yosef Yitzchak organization also provides the service to newborn babies of non-religious parents who might not otherwise think to perform this Biblical commandment.

Rabbi Aziza runs a Chabad synagogue in Tel Aviv, one of Israel's main cities and which has been targeted in recent years by PLO suicide bombings. So Rabbi Aziza certainly knows the importance of defunding the terrorists.

Our response: Our "Nations in Judgment" feature scores five categories to describe the moral/spiritual state of each nation, each on a 0 to 4 scale (for a maximum possible score of 20):

When we started the "Nations in Judgment" ongoing project months ago, we weren't sure how much we might have to restructure it as we learned from its unfolding. But to our pleasant surprise, we are finding that the scores given to nations in these five categories turn out to be fairly good predictors of whether a nation falls to Communism or not. In a few cases, nations with fairly low scores that haven't gone Communist seem to be protected by special miracles. But in general, our ratings seem to have found the essential ingredients that determine whether, and to what degree, G-d protects nations from judgment by Communist revolution.
