JAHG-USA Newsletter: Week of 1 Kislev, 5768 / November 11, 2007

"What can be done about the collapsing housing market?" Everyone who responded took the view that deregulating banking and housing construction is the best approach, if only to avert problems down the road. No one offered any ideas as to where the housing market might be headed now, nor what could be done in the short term if problems might be looming. The general lack of additional comments suggests that people aren't too sure what's really happening with housing prices; investors are hoping they'll keep going up, banks are hoping people will be able to keep up with their payments, and homeowners are wondering if they can still refinance to cover their bills and their lifestyles.

Factual Background:
Three bizarre phenomena have overcome the housing market in recent years, to which people are reacting in a purely short-term manner without stopping to wonder what's really happening:

If a person isn't too drunk with the thought of making easy money, a moment's reflection will reveal that the party can't possibly last forever. What goes up, must come down. Whatever is driving up housing prices won't keep going; eventually those prices must collapse down to "normal" levels. Interest rates will have to bounce back to some "regular" percentages. And debtors will somehow have to pay off their loans or face bankruptcy (and when housing prices come back down and interest rates shoot back up, they may not be able to pay their debts).

The whole economy today is like a house of cards; every business, every job is tottering in the balance, dependent on customers who borrow money to be able to buy. Once enough customers can no longer keep up with their payments and obligations, they won't be able to make purchases. Businesses will consequently face a lack of income, and won't be able to pay their own debts to other companies. Those other companies will then face a similar cash flow crunch… and on it will go, until the entire, debt-bloated economy collapses into severe recession or outright depression. Then businesses will close, people will lose their jobs, homes and cars will be repossessed, banks will fail and take everyone's savings with them, the stock and commodities markets will plummet and wipe out people's investments, etc. Homelessness and famine will ensue on a grand scale.

That, of course, is the huge opportunity for revolution that the Communists and their allies have been seeking for decades. Under such conditions, it will be far easier to incite labor union strikes that cripple what's left of the economy, to provoke riots and anarchy by desperately hungry people, to impose "emergency measures" similar to those of Communist regimes, and to unleash terrorism and urban guerrilla warfare that meets less resistance. It was precisely such economic chaos that opened the door for the bloody French Revolution, the Bolshevik revolution in Russia, and the Nazi revolution in Germany.

As you might therefore suspect, the whole debt burden of modern society isn't a coincidence; it was planned and artificially created.

In his booklet The Communist Manifesto, Karl Marx discussed the measures needed to destabilize and destroy industrial societies. Item number five on his list of strategic objectives was worded as follows:

This means, in short, putting in the hands of revolutionaries the power to control the entire banking system, which they use to inflate the supply of money and credit and thus destabilize the economy. Easier credit and lower interest rates mean more people borrowing and spending; a growing supply of money and credit means prices being bid higher and higher, further driving people to spend rather than saving money that becomes worthless with time. Products of relatively stable value, such as housing, show the effects of money inflation spectacularly, their rising prices fueling a wave of speculative investment — in other words, people buying homes not to own them, but in the hope of turning around and reselling them for a hefty profit.

The Communists have instituted exactly Marx's plan for centralized banking in every country they occupy, placing all banks in the hands of the Communist Party. In Western Europe, the United States, and other industrial nations, similar systems established by Fabian Socialists have placed all banking power in their hands, allowing them to create artificial recessions and depressions. The U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, for example, was instrumental in driving the reckless spending and investment speculation of the "roaring '20s," which finally collapsed into the Great Depression of the 1930s (itself fueling the rise of militant labor unions and Communist revolutionary agitation in the streets).

The debt bubble in the U.S., both public and private, has been growing wildly for over three decades. It has led to a few minor recessions (1982, 1990-1991, and 2001-2002, for example), but for the most part that debt has never yet caught up with the economy. When it finally does, all those years of profligacy and distorted priorities will have to be paid for all at once.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) Jewish prophetic traditions from Biblical times mention that, during the final seven years before the arrival of Moshiach (the Messiah) and the Redemption, three years of economic hardship will take place. The second and fourth years will be times of economic trouble for many, and the third year (in between) will be a time of universal famine. Shortages, inflation, and poverty will strike everywhere. These traditions are mentioned in the Talmud (Sanhedrin 97a & 98a).

2) Numerous signs of those "end times" right before the final Redemption are mentioned in the books of the Prophets, in the rabbinical commentaries thereon, and in the Talmud. Virtually all of those signs have recently occurred or are now unfolding, proving unequivocally we are living in the final moments before the coming of Moshiach. The Lubavitcher Rebbe pointed to these signs, and further added, as an explicit matter of prophecy, that this is the generation of the Redemption. This means the seven final years, including the years of famine, are on the verge of happening today.

3) The purpose of such hardships is to force people to do teshuvah ("return" to Theocratic Law; repentance), so that a full recovery can quickly follow on the heels of the economic crisis — and so that the Messiah can come to a world that no longer rejects G-d's Theocracy.

Analysis:
The final Redemption cannot come until G-d "gets people's attention," so to speak. The average person is simply too preoccupied with living his personal life for his own selfish motives to welcome the Messiah and his theocratic system. So if it takes famine and/or war to shake people out of their lethargy, that is what will happen.

The very fact that people have been too busy with their personal affairs to prevent subversive forces from driving the economy into debt addiction is itself proof of the need for some "shock therapy" to provoke repentance. The additional fact that people have allowed themselves to be swept up in the illusion of quick, easy money by borrowing their way is further proof of what is needed.

We can't wipe away the debt by ignoring it. The bill is due, and it must be paid — through economic hard times. But the sooner and more completely people repent and turn their lives around (especially by participating in the campaigns of JAHG-USA), the sooner and more easily the troubles will come to an end and the economy will be blessed to rebuild.

Avoiding G-d's work isn't the way to get out of trouble; on the contrary, it guarantees disaster.

This week: Rabbi Yona Metzger… Again, Part 2
Israel's chief Ashkenazic rabbi never met an interfaith conference — or a political effort to surrender to the PLO — that he didn't like.

Yona Metzger met again with the Archbishop of Canterbury — twice this year, part of an ongoing commitment to annual meetings — for ecumenical dialogue between the Anglican Church and Judaism. The object was to promote various Marxist political objectives and, less openly, a "New World Order" pseudo-religion that would be neither Jewish nor Christian. Archbishop Rowan Williams, it may be recalled by those who follow the news, is a blatantly pro-PLO, anti-Israel Leftist. "Rabbi" Metzger gladly accomodated the red archbishop by officially agreeing to support Israeli surrender to the PLO.

Meanwhile, Metzger made a beeline to a grand interfaith conference in Naples, Italy, last month. In attendance were Anglican Archbishop Williams, Patriarch Bartholomew I (head of Eastern Orthodox Christianity), a prominent Buddhist monk from Communist Myanmar, Zoroastrians, representatives of Islam, Communist and Marxist political leaders, officials of the Communist-front World Council of Churches (WCC), and hundreds of others. Roman Catholic Pope Benedict XVI met unofficially with the attendees. On the agenda were Marxist initiatives to promote the Leftist, Public-Health "War on AIDS"; the surrender of Israel to the PLO; the Marxist, environmentalist drive to frighten people about nonexistent "global warming" as an excuse to begin dismantling industrial economies; nuclear disarmament, to leave nations helpless in the face of Soviet nuclear superiority; and a call for a new international organization to merge all world religions into one — a call echoed by Metzger, who referred to the idea as a "United Nations of Religions" (as he did last year in Spain).

His wording was appropriate. The United Nations (UN) is not only a fully Communist-controlled organization, founded and dominated by Soviet Russia, but it is also actively involved in Moscow's drive to create precisely such a super-organization to bring all world religions under the control of the KGB secret police. Several KGB-front, interfaith organizations already exist to promote this concept, all of them with UN affiliations. Soviet Russian dictator Vladimir Putin personally hosted a world ecumenical meeting last year in Moscow in the hope of creating such an organization that would be universally accepted by the followers of all religions. Our exposure of the meeting, and of Yona Metzger's attendance, in this JAHG-USA newsletter undoubtedly had much to do with the fact that Moscow did not repeat the meeting this year as originally hoped. Still, the Communists never rest, and Naples served as the latest location for the ongoing interfaith subversion drive.

Terrorism Update:

Summary of PLO-related terror attacks these last two weeks, Wednesday (October 31) through Tuesday (November 13):

Palestine Liberation Movement (Fatah): The JAHG-USA newsletter is read by the PLO and its allies very, very carefully, and they adjust their tactics accordingly. And they've been seething in frustration at the inability to hide PLO terrorism behind other groups so as to protect their gravy train of U.S. funding. After all, the PLO's friends in the news media — including the badly infiltrated, phony "right-wing" Arutz-Sheva — are generally cooperating to make Hamas and the PLO seem "independent" of one another, and to shunt off as much blame for terrorism to Hamas and "Arabs" in general as possible. So why can't JAHG-USA do the same and stop exposing the PLO masters of Middle East terror?
Until nearly two weeks ago, the PLO's main group was continuing its usual smoke-and-mirrors routine, conducting terror strikes while having its front groups take credit instead. Early on a Thursday morning, a wave of nine explosive Kassam missiles was fired from the Gaza Strip toward nearby Israeli towns, and immediately afterward the Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) stepped forward to take joint credit. Those two groups (and Hamas, of course) are the "usual suspects" that perform that role; they're both nominally independent of Fatah, yet both are under the tight command of Fatah officers and are subsidized from the Fatah treasury using your money. Translation: They do as they're told.
But then Fatah suddenly changed its mind and dropped all pretenses, no doubt realizing it doesn't do much good when JAHG-USA is constantly exposing its role anyway. Hours after those other two groups took responsibility for the missiles — literally the day after the previous issue of our newsletter issue was released — the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, probably the largest of Fatah's militias, made a public announcement that they were the ones who had launched the missiles after all! Now that the mask was off, the Fatah fighters didn't stop there; they defiantly proclaimed a new offensive of hundreds of planned missiles at Israel in the coming weeks, daring Israel to do anything about it (with secret Communists and their allies controlling the Israeli government and security services at all levels, the PLO figures it doesn't have much to worry about).
So there you have it, right from the horse's mouth: No credit is mentioned in news media sources for most of the missiles and mortar fire, but Fatah let it be known they are behind virtually all those attacks. And they implicitly demonstrated to Arabs and Israelis alike that they, and not their smaller front group Hamas, are the ones running the Gaza. They want their American sponsors to think otherwise, but not their victims in Israel itself.
Palestinian Authority (PA): The so-called "government" to which George Bush is delivering salami slices of Israel is nothing but an apparatus of the PLO, officially created and run by the mother of all terrorist groups. "Soldiers" of the PA — many of them simultaneously members of the PLO's Fatah — joined together with other Fatah fighters of its Al-Aqsa Brigades in conducting target-shooting exercises with live ammo at palestinian Arab bystanders in a West Bank refugee camp. By the PLO's own admission, five Arab civilians who couldn't run for cover quickly enough were injured. Later, both PLO groups released stories to the news media that they were actually fighting each other for no particular reason, and that their guns just coincidentally happened to hit civilians with ruthless efficiency.
Seeing the systematic terror campaign against palestinians, the terrified Arab residents of East Jerusalem are furiously petitioning the Israeli government not to abandon their parts of the city to PLO control. The palestinian Arabs very much wish to remain under Israeli government, and for good reason.
Islamic Jihad Movement: A semi-formal member of the PLO for decades and operating under the strict control of the PLO's Fatah, the tiny Jihad group obediently took credit for the above-mentioned Kassam missiles that Fatah later admitted having fired. But in two cases they may really have been involved in attacks: The Islamic Jihad implicitly took credit for two Kassam missile launchings, and a Jihad cell was fired on by Israeli forces before it could launch mortar shells from the Gaza Strip.
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas): Taking a cue from its PLO masters, Hamas also tried some live-fire target practice against palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip. Half a dozen Arab casualties resulted, both dead and injured, including a few children. Only Hamas didn't bother pretending it was fighting some other PLO-controlled militia; it simply murdered the palestinians in cold blood for refusing to cooperate in terrorism. The bullets were paid for by you, the generous American taxpayer, courtesy of George Bush via Fatah, which transfers a portion of the booty to its Hamas allies to cover their expenses.

Ever conscious of the possibility of an American taxpayer rebellion, the PLO was busy cranking out fairy tales that the news media happily repeated without question. Fatah supposedly fought its own PA; Hamas fought its close ally, the Islamic Jihad; Hamas fought its sponsor, Fatah; Fatah turned against itself and sent some of its members into the Army of Islam (AOI), then declared its AOI ally to be "Al Qaeda"; etc., etc., ad nauseum. None of the ridiculous stories could be confirmed from non-PLO sources. But the point was to create a dizzying swirl of utter confusion, in order to protect the PLO's American paychecks while it expands its terror war. It's hard to object to how your money is being used if you can't tell who's doing what.

The Brotherhood's Tentacles Spread Worldwide

Despite framing its Marxist propaganda in the superficial "religious" garb of "Islamic" phrases, Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood was controlled, and probably founded, by the Egyptian Communist Party. The two organizations worked so closely together that they distributed each other's pamphlets and coordinated joint demonstrations. Yet the Communists found it useful to keep the Brotherhood nominally "independent" rather than alienate Arabs who hated Communism, thus allowing Marxist doctrines to be disseminated through the more trusted Muslim Brotherhood.

However, the Soviet-sponsored, Communist dictatorship of Gamal Abdel Nasser opted to promote Marxist goals through Arab nationalism rather than Islam, and in 1954, two years into the new regime, the Muslim Brotherhood was pushed out of the governing coalition and officially "banned."

But the organization has continued to function with covert government help. Many of its members and leaders are agents of Egypt's secret police, and it is allowed a large unofficial presence in all levels of government, education, and other institutions. In effect, it serves as a vehicle for the Communist regime to carry out subversive and terrorist actions, both in Egypt and abroad, for which the government disavows all responsibility while blaming "Islamic extremists."

Starting long before the Communists came to power in Egypt and continuing to the present, the Brotherhood has been busy establishing branches throughout the Middle East and beyond:

Some of the Brotherhood's international activities are being treated as legitimate by the U.S. government and news media, while other activities are being labeled "Al Qaeda" operations and treated as if they had little or nothing to do with the Brotherhood. Indeed, some of the Brotherhood's wings inside Egypt are now referred to as the very center of the "Al Qaeda" phantom menace — while the Brotherhood itself is treated with deference as a "democratic opposition" to the Egyptian government!
