"Issues of World War III" Survey

Should Jewish organizations officially recognize the Turkish genocide against Armenians? There was some sympathy for the movement to recognize the Armenian genocide, but three quarters of responding readers were either of mixed opinions or opted for taking some other position on the issue altogether. Comments were sparse; my impression is that most Americans aren't quite sure what to think about this.

Factual Background:
Before it became the republic of Turkey, the Ottoman empire ruled parts of Europe and much of the Middle East as a Sultanate, a Muslim kingdom that did not distinguish between politics and religion. But the Amaleki world revolution aimed to change all that.

Led by the Grand Orient Masonic order of Italy, lodges of Freemasonry in Turkey introduced the values of the French revolution into their country. The underground Masonic network organized what eventually became known as the Young Turk movement, a secret order that aimed at the elimination of religion (especially Islam), the breakup of the Ottoman empire, and the destruction of the economic and social system through socialism. Agents of the new organization spread its cells and influence throughout the Ottoman empire.

Marshalling slogans of the French revolution, the Young Turks seized power in 1908 and ruled almost continuously until the defeat and collapse of Turkey at the end of World War I. They promoted a socialist nationalism to compete with Muslim religion and fueled a growing Marxist political movement, but were not able to plunge Turkey into Communism during their few years in power.

In stepped Mustafa Kemal (later to rename himself Kemal Atatürk, or "Father Turk"), a military officer and early organizer of the Young Turks — and an unswerving pro-Communist and hater of Islamic religion. In the immediate wake of the first World War and partial occupation by allied forces, Kemal acted with the guidance and support of the Italian Grand Orient Freemasonic lodges and mobilized enough soldiers to pull Turkey out from under allied influence. By 1920, his temporary government was filled with open Marxists and was working to ally itself with the newly Soviet Russia. Kemal worked hand in hand with Soviet-supported Communist revolutionaries in Turkey, founded the Turkish Communist Party and attached it to the Third International of Communist parties around the world controlled by Moscow, and in 1921 arranged a treaty with the Soviets that officially allied Kemal's Turkish revolution with Communism.

By 1923, Kemal established the Turkish republic as a non-religious state. From then until his death in 1938, he tore apart every aspect of traditional society that he could, to prepare the way for more radical Marxist revolution. While ruthlessly suppressing his enemies, he abolished the Caliphate, undermined the influence of religion in public life, promoted feminism, and even changed the alphabet from modified Arabic to a modified Latin just to erase all tradition.

But his revolution largely failed. Gradually, in the decades after his death, capitalism and the industrial revolution transformed Turkish economy and society. Turks became more conservative and the country became stronger and less prone to Communism. Thus in 1980 the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) founded the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), the Communist party of Turkish Kurds; with Soviet backing, Iranian control, and PLO support, the PKK aims to break away southeastern Turkey as a Communist state, a Soviet Russian base for invasion of the rest of Turkey.

The bottom line of all this is that the Young Turks were Communist agents, though they carefully avoided the label.

So what is the story behind the Armenian genocide? During the middle of World War I, the Young Turk regime employed a commonly used tactic of Communists to help consolidate power: They stirred up nationalist passions and pitted one ethnic group against the other, in this case Muslim Turks against Christian Armenians.

The Communists were then working to take control of the Armenians, both those in Turkey and those in the Russian empire of the Czar. Their main organization for this purpose was the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), a radical Marxist party that always referred to its members as "comrades" (in Soviet style) and has born a blood-red flag; the ARF is today a member of the Soviet-controlled Socialist International, is part of the Communist regime ruling in Soviet Armenia, and extends its tentacles of subversive influence into Armenian communities throughout the world.

The Young Turks, as is now well documented, systematically uprooted and destroyed Armenian communities in Turkey, murdering somewhere between 500,000 and 1.5 million Armenians. By annihilating the more prosperous Armenian population, the Young Turks hoped to break the Turkish economy and send it spiraling down into socialism. And the devastation on Armenian society helped leverage the ARF's influence among Armenians to the point that it played a central role in establishing the Democratic Republic of Armenia in 1918, a precursor to the Soviet takeover of the country. (Mustafa Kemal further helped the Soviet conquest in 1920 by sending Turkish forces to attack Armenia and break its military strength, leaving the country helpless as the Soviet Red Army subsequently invaded.)

In other words, the Young Turk Marxists were working in concert with the Armenian Communists, creating the conditions for the ARF to exploit in its rise to power. So the Young Turk genocide was not a Turkish genocide, but rather an anti-Turkish, pro-Communist revolutionary drive conducted by Communists and their allies.

Today, the campaign for a recognition of the Armenian genocide also comes from the Communists. The Soviet ARF, through its front coalition, the Armenian National Committee of America, is the driving force behind the noisy propaganda campaign. Why, you ask, would the Soviets now want an official recognition of the genocide performed by their own agents back in 1915-1917? Because they are now trying to isolate the Turkish government from international support, to exert pressure for it to compromise with the Soviet-backed PKK revolutionaries in establishing a Soviet-controlled "people's republic" in southeastern Turkey.

The campaign to recognize the Armenian genocide is aimed against a new government that did not commit the genocide. It has nothing to do with promoting Armenian interests.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) According to the mystical teachings of Hasidus, the core philosophy of Torah, the ancient nation of Midian represented the evil principle of diabolical chaos. It aimed to pit one person against another, using techniques of provocation to stir up hatred and conflict. This was seen in the Midianite use of their daughters as prostitutes who seduced Jewish men into idolatry, the aim being to remove G-d's protection from the nation of Israel. A plague did strike the Jews, but Pinchas ben Elazar saved the nation by zealously slaying one of the sinning Jewish man with a spear (see Numbers 25:1-9).

2) The revolutionary, underground nation of Amalek survives to this day and is the organizing force behind the entire world revolution, from the French revolution to modern Communism. This can be proven by a detailed comparison of Amalek's unique goals and strategies with the equally bizarre goals and strategies of Communism, which are exactly identical. Amalek was closely allied with Midian in Biblical times, and adopted Midianite tactics. Thus we see today the Communist principle of dialectics, the strategy of inciting class, race, or ethnic warfare by pitting groups against one another, with the aim of bringing both groups under the control of Amaleki evil.

3) When Midianite tactics of provoking hatred and conflict are in play, there is no solution but to strike directly at the heart of the matter, in the way of a zealot, to bring the division to an abrupt end and to neutralize the provocateurs who are stirring it up. Such action earned Pinchas ben Elazar entry into the holy Levitical priesthood as his reward from G-d.

Analysis:
If advocates of recognizing the Armenian genocide were actually concerned about Armenian interests (or about genocide in general), they would work to condemn the regime of Soviet Armenia and its Russian masters in the Kremlin. At least eight known concentration camps operate in Soviet Armenia, in which untold numbers of Armenians are being tormented and murdered. The Soviet Gulag of concentration camps not only has never closed down, but actually expanded during the 1990s. The modern Soviet genocide against the Armenian people is a more pressing issue than the one in 1915-1917 — aside from the fact that the modern Turkish government is a different one from the long-dead Marxist regimes of the Young Turks and Mustafa Kemal.

Any recognition of the Armenian genocide must focus primarily on the modern Soviet genocide against all the peoples of Soviet Russia and its satellites, as well as the Red Chinese genocide against the Chinese people, etc. And it must clearly point the finger of blame for the 1915-1917 genocide at the Communists, not the Turks. Anything else is Soviet propaganda in disguise.

This week: Lev Leviev, part 2
Orthodox rabbis and institutions throughout Soviet Russia and its satellites, and in Israel, have become increasingly dependent on funding from Israel's wealthiest man — Soviet immigrant, diamond magnate, and billionaire investor Lev Leviev. Having hundreds of Jewish religious organizations feeding from his hand is cause for concern; as mentioned in part 1, Leviev consistently backs the Soviet Russian line on virtually every major issue. The insidious influence of his tens of millions of dollars in annual donations is already penetrating the orthodox and Hasidic world to a dangerous extent, and undoubtedly explains much of the modern reluctance of rabbis to participate actively in JAHG-USA's PLO-defunding campaign.

Just who is the mysterious Leviev and how did he rise so rapidly from rags to fantastic riches?

Born in Soviet Uzbekistan, Leviev was allowed to emigrate to Israel in 1971 (Soviet emigration is used as cover for enormous numbers of KGB agents to infiltrate non-Communist countries). After some difficulties trying to break into the international diamond business, at that time controlled by the De Beers cartel of South Africa, Leviev was chosen by the Kremlin to be its leading diamond broker. De Beers was essentially kicked out of its Soviet diamond mines, and Leviev received the spoils all to himself. He was given control of the diamond mines and the rights to market the diamonds, and he built a factory for cutting and polishing the Soviet gemstones directly in the country.

For decades, of course, Soviet Russian diamond mining and polishing has been operated by slave labor in notorious Siberian concentration camps, which still exist today. Leviev spends much time at his facilities in Soviet Russia and personally oversees the genocidal operation, but mentions not a word of this to the outside world.

Having built Leviev's Russian diamond empire, Moscow then handed him control of the diamond industry in Communist Angola — where Russian "advisors" and Cuban soldiers prop up the brutal dictatorship of José Eduardo Dos Santos. Under Soviet control and with the close friendship of the Soviet-trained Dos Santos, Leviev consolidated Angola's diamond mining and created a massive fountain of blood money to support the murderous regime in its war against the population; in return, the De Beers cartel was kicked out of Angola, too, and Leviev and his Soviet sponsors ended up with the diamond monopoly. Soon Leviev's financial empire was extended to Marxist Namibia, under the control of the Communist, terrorist South West African People's Organization (SWAPO).

Today, Leviev's business investments include gigantic shopping centers in Soviet Russia, a metallurgy plant in Soviet Kazakhstan, and other massive ventures throughout the Soviet republics and in Red China. He maintains close relationships with Soviet dictator Vladimir Putin and with the bloodthirsty Communist dictators of Soviet Azerbaijan, Soviet Armenia, and Soviet Kazkahstan; those connections have not only continued to build Leviev's business empire, but he acts as an official "honorary consul" for the Kazakh regime in Israel while simultaneously holding the top administrative position in the Communist-front Federation of Jewish Communities that controls all Jewish activities in Soviet Russia and its satellites.

The fact that Leviev has the reputation of being able to get any project approved by Communist governments, when others cannot, leaves no doubt he is a dedicated, hardened agent of the KGB, the Soviet secret police today known as the SVR. It accounts for the liberalization of religious values that Leviev subsidizes and actively encourages in orthodox Jewish institutions in Soviet Russia, Israel, and the United States, and it reveals yet another tentacle of Communist subversion quietly infiltrating religious circles in the West.

The next time an orthodox rabbi shows little or no enthusiasm for the PLO-defunding campaign, find out if he benefits from money, directly or indirectly, from Lev Leviev.

Terrorism Update:

Summary of PLO-related terror attacks these last four weeks, Wednesday (September 19) through Tuesday (October 16):

Palestine Liberation Movement (Fatah): The PLO's main subgroup — and the one that receives literally billions of hard-earned dollars from American taxpayers, courtesy of President Bush — was very active in the terror business. The courageous fighters of its militias, primarily the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the Tanzim militia, fought multiple gun battles with Israeli troops while using Arab civilians and their homes as cover. They also fired Kassam missiles, bearing explosive warheads packed with shrapnel for maximum casualties, at civilian homes in residential neighborhoods. A Fatah Tanzim unit was also intercepted with several bombs before it could use them against women and children, and another non-religious Tanzim cell was stopped before it could carry out a suicide bombing in some crowded area filled with unsuspecting families.
These are the murderous, Soviet-controlled predators to whom George Bush and Condoleezza Rice (a prominent member of the Fabian Socialist Council on Foreign Relations/CFR) are generously giving Israeli land and American guns and money.
Meanwhile, lo and behold, Fatah and its alleged "enemy" Hamas were caught working together in terrorism — more than once! On at least one occasion, they jointly conducted a gun battle against Israeli soldiers. In another instance, a plot to use bombs against unknown targets was caught in time; members of both groups were found hiding together with the explosives. Had the plan gone to fruition, no doubt Hamas would have taken credit while its PLO/Fatah masters would have remained in the background, protesting that they had nothing to do with the attack and that they really, truly don't like Hamas all that much, etc., etc.
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP): The largest openly Marxist-Leninist wing of the PLO had its fingers in almost every type of terrorism, and together with virtually every other faction of the revolution. They worked with Fatah in launching Kassam missiles at homes (thus sharing in the booty of your tax dollars). The fanatically anti-religious, Communist PFLP eagerly fought side by side with Fatah and the "religious" Hamas against Israeli soldiers from amongst Arab civilian shields (which speaks volumes about the phony "Islam" of Hamas). And they were deeply involved in a joint plot with Hamas and the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC, a Fatah front) in planning a suicide bombing that was prevented through hard work by Israeli forces.
Let it not be said that the PLO Communists don't work hard for their American paychecks.
Popular Resistance Committees (PRC): This PLO front group was just as busy doing its job. In addition to participating in the above-mentioned suicide bombing plot, the PRC was eagerly launching deadly Kassam missiles, on its own and together with Hamas, plus it fired a longer-range, Soviet Russian Grad missile with a larger warhead at a residential area further into Israel. As a bonus, it also joined with both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in firing dozens of mortar shells into civilian areas.
The PRC is effectively nothing more than an alternate name for cells of the PLO's Fatah, a diversionary label to use whenever Fatah is worried about too much bad publicity in the U.S. Angry American taxpayers could become their worst nightmare, for without funding, how would they pay for all their fabulous arsenals and training?
Army of Islam (AOI): Last year, together with the PRC, this little-known group kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who remains in captivity today. Three weeks ago, on the Jewish holiday of Sukkos, the AOI was also intercepted before it could fire mortar shells at Jewish families busy with their festival celebrations.
Months ago, it finally was discovered that the AOI was nothing more than another bogus name for the PLO's Fatah apparatus in the Gaza Strip. They are thoroughly anti-religious, anti-Muslim — and funded by you.
Islamic Jihad Movement: A semi-formal member of the PLO run by Fatah commanders, the tiny Islamic Jihad attacked Israeli soldiers with an anti-tank missile, helped fire mortar shells at residential homes, and nearly succeeded in detonating bombs at the border of the Gaza Strip. Their operations are subsidized and overseen by Fatah using America's money, and together with the PLO's Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Islamic Jihad openly boasted of carrying out the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington, DC. The PLO doesn't mind biting the hand that feeds it, as long as the victims won't strike back. And that can often be accomplished by using the "Islamic Jihad" name as cover.
Palestinian Authority (PA): While pretending to be a separate governmental authority, the PA is in fact nothing more than the political apparatus of the PLO. It receives the substantial bulk of the PLO's U.S. funding on behalf of the rest of the group, and its phony "police" forces are composed of the PLO's most brutal terrorists, who can more effectively devote themselves to the revolution by being employed full time in their terror work.
So it was no surprise that PA "police" joined with other members of Fatah in fighting a gun battle against Israeli soldiers, while ducking behind palestinian Arab civilians for protection. PA "police" also operate numerous "checkpoints" to exercise terror over their hostage palestinian population; last Saturday night, an unarmed young palestinian Arab father and his five-year-old boy were brutally gunned down and murdered by PA "police," armed with Soviet Russian rifles, for not immediately halting at one of those revolutionary "checkpoints."

Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas): Aside from being involved in the above-mentioned bombing and suicide-bombing plots that failed, Hamas took credit for various attacks of Kassam missiles, mortar shells, and gunfire. How much Hamas actually did is not clear; the group is funded to the tune of millions of dollars by the PLO's Fatah, many of its members are Fatah fighters, and its activities are closely coordinated by Fatah. Hamas is merely a finger on the PLO hand, while conveniently maintaining an image of independence.
Communist Party of Israel (Hadash): "Leftists" (a news media code word for overt Communists) helped organize a riotous attack on Jewish settlers in the West Bank; when police arrived, the poor, innocent "Leftists" turned around and falsely accused the Jewish families of attacking them. Somehow the Communists just coincidentally happened to be hanging around the Jewish settlement with PLO members, and those mean settlers decided to attack them for no reason. Communists were also recently caught destroying farm equipment of local Arabs and blaming it on nearby Jewish settlers. Such are the provocative tactics of Communist groups everywhere in the world.
Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK): The bloody revolution in Turkey continues to escalate. Members of the Communist Party of the Kurds indiscriminately detonated a bomb that injured both police and civilian bystanders. In another attack, they machine-gunned a bus, murdering twelve civilians and guards and injuring two others. The PKK was founded by the PLO, not by Kurds or Turks, and continues to work closely with its PLO sponsors with the aim of establishing a Soviet foothold in southeastern Turkey.
